The Association of Vancouver Island and Coastal Communities convention in Powell River was an opportunity for local politicians from around the coast to get together. Sunshine Coast Regional District directors met qathet (Powell River) Regional District directors and City of Powell River councillors. We’ll be staying in touch, too, to pool our knowledge and work together on common issues.
